A movie being produced by Spike Lee will be filmed right here in Montgomery.
The film is called "Son of the South" and is about a civil rights unsung hero. The movie is written and directed by Montgomery native Barry Alexander Brown.
They will shoot in and around Montgomery and Wetumpka for about six weeks.
A co-producer said some well-recognized actors will be apart of the film and they will be looking for extras.
