Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre believes New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will continue his NFL career.

Favre, who started over Rodgers during the latter's first three NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers before similarly being traded to the Jets in 2008, said his former predecessor still has "something left," despite one of the worst seasons of his inevitable Hall of Fame career.

“I think I’m right in saying that he has a lot of juice left in the tank," Favre told TMZ Sports before clarifying that the decision was ultimately up to how Rodgers feels.

"I just know that he still can play," he added. "It's just a matter of does he want to and does he want to give it his all and does a team want to take a chance on him."

Rodgers, 41, is currently signed with the Jets through the 2025 season, however, is schedule to make an un-guaranteed $37.5 million on a $23.5 million salary cap number and could either be traded or cut if New York decides to move on this offseason. The four-time MVP suffered a season-ending Achilles injury during his first drive with the Jets in 2023 and had a disappointing season in 2024, leading the team to a 5-14 record.
