Cardi B is continuing to etch her name into history.

The "Money" rapper will soon join the long list of esteemed superstars to have starred in Pepsi's iconic Super Bowl ad campaign, TMZ reports.

Cardi has not only officially locked in the role as this year's Pepsi celebrity spokesperson, she has reportedly already shot the commercial that will air during Super Bowl LIII. As any sports fan can tell you, starring in the Pepsi commercial is a huge honor (it's truly a monumental TV moment), given that it is one of the most anticipated commercials to air during the Super Bowl each and every year, and is watched by hundreds of millions of people online even after it airs. Cardi joins megastars Michael Jackson, BeyoncePinkOne DirectionMadonnaMariah CareySpice Girlsand Britney Spears, just to name of few, who have starred in a Pepsi SB commercial.

Despite reports that Cardi was in talks to perform alongside headliners Maroon 5 at this year's Super Bowl, the gig was ultimately given to Travis Scott and Big Boi after negotiations with Cardi allegedly fell apart.

Most recently, legendary producer Jazze Pha revealed that Lil Jon and Jermaine Dupri will join Big Boi during this year's halftime show. "I think Lil Jon and Jermaine Dupri and everybody gonna make it hot," Pha said after revealing he had just come back from halftime show rehearsals. "They gonna make it live. Maybe I let the cat outta the bag, I don't know!" While he didn't reveal Jon' and Jermaine's roles for the show, Pha did say that he "will be there" and that that "you've never seen anything like" the performance they're preparing.

Pha's revelation about the SB halftime show came amid the backlash of this year's performers, due to the on-going NFL boycott sparked by Colin Kaepernick's kneeling protests. Travis though has taken the most heat for agreeing to perform alongside Maroon 5Many felt that by the "SICKO MODE" rapper agreeing to perform, he was overlooking the NFL's alleged blackballing of the former San Francisco 49er quarterback, who spearheaded the kneeling movement in protest of police brutality and racial injustice.

Super Bowl LIII will air Sunday, February 3 live from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
