Trump Turns Up Heat On Senate Republicans Over Healthcare

President Trump is turning up the heat on Senate Republicans over healthcare.  At the White House on Monday, Trump again urged the Senate to pass a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The President met with a group of people he called "victims of Obamacare" and said the healthcare law is a "big, fat ugly lie."  He also called it a "horrible disaster."

The House narrowly passed a healthcare bill in May but Republican leaders have struggled to craft a bill that can pass in the Senate.  Trump said Republicans have promised to "repeal and replace" Obamacare for seven years.  He also criticized congressional Democrats for refusing to provide one, single vote for a new healthcare plan.  Trump said a Republican healthcare plan will offer more choices and flexibility.
